CZ/Science and Technology Week

Czech Republic 01-11-10 - 07-11-10: Science and Technology Week is one of the largest science communication events in the Czech Republic, which presents the latest scientific achievements and current research approaches. Science and Technology Week is organized by the Centre of Administration and Operation of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in the framework of European Science Week and is held annually at the beginning of November. In 2009, Science and Technology Week took place November 2-8 in five cities in the Czech Republic: Prague, Brno, Ceské Budejovice, Olomouc and Ostrava. The general public, students, pupils have an opportunity to participate in various lectures, public debates, exhibitions and other science popularization actions.
